Learn about mathematics by studying designs such as basic Fibonacci sequences found in nature, including the living things in our environments, from flowers to food! Children will engage in pattern reasoning to gain understanding of the numbers behind the beauty through examination, replication, and creation of their own designs. Different spiral techniques will turn into small cats, snails, and more! We’ll learn about the connections between nature and inspired inventions (biomimicry). Everyone will walk away with an individual art piece inspired by their own number pattern. $17 per class (materials included) *Lunch bunch option 12:30-1:00
